I was successfull to push the japanese out of South east asia in 1945 as the allied, so i used indian divisions to land behind the china front to help liberate china.

But then i discovered that no indian divisions can move on china land... So they are stuck here to die out of supply now [:D]

They can't move, but they can swap places with other counters.

One has to be very careful regarding Allied and Chinese hexes. If a unit from one of these fractions move into a formerly Japanese owned hex, that hex will be permanently blocked from access to the other non-Japanese fraction. It could render future supply lines impossible.

Anyone know what the rules are on which Allies can enter China? I know the Indian units can't. What about UK or US?

China also seems to have some restrictions. I think they can enter some of the area to the south but it seams they can't enter the Burma area. Can they advance southward as far as Saigon? I think in one game I was testing they were able to cross over into Burma when some combination of Indian, UK and Japanese control occurred but shortly after they lost the access.

Also, are their other restrictions on where Indian troops can be used? Like using them to retake DEI.

Only China is uncooperative. That means any land they retake becomes China. It also means that any Chinese country land retaken by other nations remains China. You can use all OP to make a large move before the restrictions kick in. Relevant if you land in a China port with another Allied unit and want to move it some way along rail.
