German again trying to get to Moscow, but no pockets out of the gate. Instead STAVKA delivers several ripostes and put several German mechanized formations out of supply:

The Soviets put the squeeze on the panzer thrust toward Kaluga. There is also a motorized unit to the south that finds itself beyond German supply lines:
