So this will be my first game with the new garrison rules.

Starting out normal...Losses are a little higher than normal but it is what it is.

Airforce does not engage and heads for France and Denmark. I normally lose 2 or 3 air and that is just a waste since the Poles don't last.

Turn 2 starts out good...Denmark falls...but then all turns south in Poland.
Somehow Krakow holds out.
And Germans losses are high...nearly 30 land fall to the Polish...

Heavy losses and Poland does not surrender next turn. Though it will for sure on turn 3 but that will not help the Netherland campaign.

Not sure I have ever had a turn go this poorly...

At least the Uboats sink 2 MS to start, though with the new rules the UK get 20 in January from Norway so...need to sink a lot more.

Forgot to build...but will be an armor next turn. Should not matter overall.

Moving forces to the Netherlands front incase he invades Lux as the French unit there ungarrisoned.

Now I know that the British have nothing good in the UK...the French are the only issue. But I don't think I could take the Netherlands before the weather turned without any armor so I will probably have to sit.

Turn 3

4 MS sunk...

Decide due to heavy loses to go all in for experience, which is something that you can not buy.

Do very well this turn...2 losses overall but many units up 3 exp points...one armor is at 78 with a few losses. That is something that is irreplacable.

Hopefully the cost is justified. Final losses in Poland 30 land...

Airforce massing on the Netherland border just in case...but the French do not invade Luxemburg.

I think you're better off using air units against Poland.

I myself send some west, but surely not all the air. Especially not the two ground support.

It's no big deal, but lesson learned for the future.

I have not used air in Poland in my last 10+ games...Just weird was all.

But a huge experience boost on many units that I rarely get. That "extra" turn gave a lot of experience killing all the unsupplied Poles.

Performed a little testing.
Seems that the Germans take heavier losses in Poland now. I played 4 games total.
Even with air not much better.

Turn 4

Built another armor
Uboats get hammered...3 hits for 4 MS...not a good trade.
Units rail to the Western front to dig in for the winter.

Turn 5

Germany builds an armor that will not arrive until mid May...but better than a mech.

Italy builds an armor

Uboat sinks 1 MS. Other returns to port for repairs.

Turn 6

No MS sunk...repairs begin on the Uboat.
Uboat at sea runs out of supply.
New Uboat arrives but waits for the others to head to sea.

Nothing built...

Turn 7

Mech built
Uboats set out to sea...no rest.
UK gets a free 20 MS now so a few more turns of work to sink those.
BUT Norway now gives 28MS and Netherlands 20...In the end it works out to the same except the UK gets the free 20 whether you attack Norway or not.

IF you can actually capture Norway prior to October you basically get rid of the 20 free MS...but it is just to much for a single division.
I tried and tried...Used the full Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffe...and still could not do it.
I suspect would need some major luck to pull it off.

Turn 8

Mech built
Uboats sink 3MS...

Current builds for France...more supply truck to be built.
Have to decide in the next few turns, subs if BOA going well or air if not for France.

Turn 9

2 MS sunk
Nothing built

Turn 10

5MS sunk
Built another armor which will arrive in July...just incase.
If not needed can head right to Yugoslavia

Turn 11

6MS sunk
Built LC and supply trucks.
Italians built a Mech

Turn 12

3MS sunk, subs take 2 hits
Built all supply trucks. Should have 180 for turn 1 of the attack.
Italians build 2 LC and convert tac to naval and set for upgrade to 1940 tech.
Ya I know the Italians are terrible...but never know when they might get a shot against the UK navy.

Turn 13

Uboats rest repair relax and head back out to sea
Build 1 supply truck and start the final repairs on my units and Panzer upgrade.
Italians begin repairs

Turn 14

2MS sunk
Built German Paratrooper, and will upgrade one Panzer still
Italians pause repairs so they can build their paratrooper in 2 turns.

Turn 15

Rough turn on the seas.

7MS and 2 Escorts sunk...BUT 4 Uboat hits. Never took 4 hits with 6 escorts before.
Built an armor and 2 supply trucks.

Turn 16

1 MS sunk 1 Uboat hit...
Italy built a paratrooper

Germany's science minister reports, Assault, Breakthrough, Fighter Bomber and Attack Sub all are increased.

Units start arriving next turn for the attack on France.
So far just see a Canadian and one UK units...expect them to be corps, in France.
