Any ideas or updates on what might be next for the Strategic Command series? Speculation welcome :)

I've been hoping for a Cold War gone hot wargame myself, set in the 1950s, 1960s, or 1970s.

I really like the WW1 game and therefore I´m interested in a US civil war game of that type. So "Strategic Command: Civil War" gets my vote!

I think the SC WW1 is the strongest in the series, so I would also agree - Strategic Command: Civil War would be a buy for me. Perhaps rather than focusing on the US Civil War it could focus on the mid-19th century and include both historical and alternate conflicts, including a US Civil War campaign.

On that note, Strategic Command Napoleon would also be an excellent option.

Would the engine stretch to cover Napoleonics?

I think Fury has enough designs under their belts to design for any era. They question is which era will bring them the most players? I am still very pro to paying for any DLC or a completely new game! Hubert throw us a bone?

Just a little hint for the guys? Any information would be good. Btw Hubert, against all odds I managed to stabilize my game (SC WW1 - Entente) and turn the corner. It's not over yet though.

War in Europe 4 with a new area-based naval system like World in Flames would be great. Would help the AI too.

3 scenarios, 2 small and 1 main-
1. Franco Prussian War
2. Russo Japanese war

Large-
1. Napoleonic Wars. Though this will be complicated due to the diplomacy thing.

I doubt this will be popular, but what I would like to see is a major revamp to SC4 of all existing games. So major requiring a repurchase, as with SC1, to 3 so far.

The SC platform: the AI, scale, game-play mechanics (events, damage calcs, movement, supply, attrition etc), are so spot on and refined I think all that is needed to make this game in a league of its own forever are maps made more detailed and virtual 3-d much like, HoI, and improved and more detailed 3-d units, such as Panzer Corps II.

New or enhanced systems such as daily weather, events, unit experience, revamped features like tech upgrades, Industry, research, diplomacy (just better not more complex) could justify selling a new Strategic Command 4.

On Thursday's Tea Time they hinted that it would not be an "SC4", but a new setting. Not clear if that means a new zoom in on a theatre of WWII like the Pacific... or perhaps a new conflict entirely.

Franco-Prussian and Russo-Japanese have never been made by anyone yet, hence i asked for that.

Napoleonic of course is a great scenario.
