Ok, so I was playing two full war scenario's as the Japanese. The first one having reached January 1943, the second one having died down last summer as my opponent disappeared. Both games started last january. I guess that's a decent game pace.

About the game. I really want to play the allies.
My experience is a mix of hard lessons learned during the aformentioned games and (bad) classic WITP habits.

Really want to play Japan! I’ll volunteer as well if you don’t find someone sooner. I am fine with agreeing to house rules and we also play a mixture of 1 or 2 day turns, as I have a proven method to switch the turn cycles mid-campaign whenever both players want. It can help speed up or slow down the game based on whatever is going on at the time.
