WPP Beta 4 - Convoy attack bug?

Had a screen shot but apparently over wrote it.
US sub occupied the Indian Trade route SE of Bombay. The Japanese had captured Bombay earlier and apparently that created a trade for Japan on that route. Since the sub was there it did a Convoy Attack. But the combat screen showed the Japanese defending the route with ten Escorts. The error is I wasn't defending the route with any Escorts. Still had five set to North and South China Sea. It didn't look like my non-existent Escorts were getting any hits but still odd.
