Is there a way to move carrier aircraft among ships?

For example, you have a damaged carrier that you send to Tokyo, say, for repairs. While it is being repaired, is there a way to send those carrier based squadrons to another carrier?

A related note, I am assuming that the only way to replace carrier aircraft is to build "Naval Air" units through production?

Alas no, you can't. For example, this is not possible to send all the carrier based planes of the Enterprise to Guadalcanal to form the Cactus air force as historically when the Enterprise was damaged.
I really hope so for Warplan 2.

Carrier based planes are associated to one CV. If it is under repair, same thing for your CV planes.

But, to complete due to this, as a bonus, CV planes are repaired for free. Meaning that no PP are spend in replacements/upgrades to complete your carrier based planes.

What I have still not understood is which experience is used for carrier based planes replacements.
Is it the one of the navy or is it the one of the air force?

Has this been fixed? In my last full game I had Japanese carrier-based planes in the 90+ experience levels in 1944-45. It appeared they are not affected by the lower experience of replacement units.

I have no idea. I will monitor in my next games.
