Fedorovka, 30km NW of Kharkov: Play either side or human vs. human.*

The vast fields of sunflowers lay under a scorching summer sun northwest of Kharkov. By the morning of August 20th, due to a determined German defense to the northeast at Polevaya, the Soviet 5th Tank Corps had pushed around to the west and was threatening the road leading to Poltava. The narrow lifeline into the city was in danger of being severed. The Russians attacked in a huge armored wedge through the endless sunflower fields, the hunters were lying in wait with a phalanx of Panthers, Tigers, heavy assault guns, and of course the irresistible 88s, from the 3rd and SS "Das Reich" Panzer Divisions. As the battle raged and dusk began to fall, elements of the Russian 14th Guards Tank Brigade swung toward the road junction at Fedorovka. German reserves were nearly exhausted and only a mixed panzer battalion from "Das Reich's" 2nd SS Panzer Regiment, reinforced with the division's heavy panzer company, could be spared to meet the Soviet tanks.*

Jess, I am still playing this this is a really great scenario so far. Night and lots of sunflowers that the Germans are hiding in.

By the way the other night I went back to 2002 I think, and downloaded around 30 scenarios from here. Most of which are yours. Great job and thanks again for all the scenarios you have created.
