Expand Event system

Currently the event system effects are pretty limited. Would it possible to expand them? For example, all Soviet industry moves could be done through events instead of currently scripted moves on specific dates? Some moves happen after I already capture the city which makes no sense.

I hope to see it expanded too. It should be possible to add equipment for example, though there is a workaround for that already.

Adjusting production would be good too for AP points.
