This movie is badass. Only thing that is missing, is me. Would have loved a small role.

I don't post these for my health. This movie is badass.

No explanation needed. Great movie making. Excellent film. Glad I didn't have to deal with that sh-t. Thankful. It's good storytelling, no bullsh-t Hollywood crap.

Rate it 9 out of 10.

I watched this movie a few days ago. The attention to period detail seemed very good.

What was missing for me was a a single strong plot line to provide context and continuity.

Thanks for bringing this movie to my attention. Oddly enough, it showed up on my Netflix recommendations, a day after reading your post. Of course I watched it and enjoyed it very much, especially how the character story lines converge.

Agree, really liked this one.

Ha! So you get a Pop-up ad nearly same time. If you start getting Elvis/Rambo video advertisements, you might want to unfriend me, Google is watching.

Just watch it on Netflix other night, yes i would say they did a great job setting up and directing the movie. Created mostly by Dutch/Holland i assumed, most of those names on the credit/end title look Dutch to me.

Liked ,it.

The recent Finnish movie about the Winter War is fantastic too. Very close to the book it was based on.

I thought it was well done overall. Kind of like Dunkirk it really didn't focus on combat.

The Forgotten Battle? After watching it I think they may have been referring to the partisans. After All Bridge Too Far and Arnhem hard to call forgotten.

It is definitely worth watching.

The Scheldt campaign that the 1st Canadian Army fought in October 1944 in order to open up Antwerp for Allied shipping seems indeed like a 'forgotten battle'. The Campaign had little to nothing to do with the Arnhem campaign. Except that the Arnhem (Market Garden) operation delayed the operation to clear up the Scheldt estuary.

I suspect that not many outside of Canada, or Netherlands, know of the campaign. Ay least not more than that it was fought, and the Canadians got the job done.
