Just posting a link of my recording of my match with Elessar on my YT channel playlist. These recording will come out every other day starting OCT 25 at 10am PDT. Since they go public in this fashion..I am ok if Elessar views them as they go up..mainly as he is the developer of the mod. I am satisfied that since they are going to be telescoped out further and further..that FoW tactically at least will be maintained. Also, I have agreed to not read Elessar's AAR..at least not till we get further out, and he says its ok.

I intend to 'bump' this thread each day a new turn goes public on my channel..with a link straight to the turn.

This mod is still in Beta...but we both felt we needed to go deeper into the campaign..both to see any balance issues..and to have some fun in the process.

Pearl Harbor is attacked with great destruction to the USA's fleet.
Guam, Wake, Brunei, Sarawak and Hong Kong fall in a coordinated attack.
Landings are made by General Yamashita's Malaya Task Force with the object of taking Singapore.

A landing is made on Java. General Teruachi pushes on Moulmein, Burma via Thailand. General Yamashita pushes closer to Singapore. The Central Taskforce heads to Truk and the Kido Butai (Strike Force) leaves the vicinity of Hawaii.

A landing is done on Java just outside Batavia. General Teruachi pushes his army group towards the Burmese border. Fierce fighting ensues on Luzon Island, The Kido Butai splits up...with the bulk heading to the Gilbert Islands..and two carriers heading to the home islands to replenish aircraft.

The Dutch East Indies fall. Manila and Singapore are besieged. Hangchow, China is stormed. The Combined Fleet assembles near Truk and the Marianas.
War in the Pacific Mod for Strategic Command WW2 World at War PBEM with Elessar.

I will have the rest of these turns go up daily at 4pm PST for now on. I am satisfied that FoW will prevail except maybe research tech for Japan. However..I think its important for Elessar to see Japan's P.O.V. particularly income and some other factors that concerned me (and others), somewhat. Still..I have been able mostly to secure Japans initial objectives (Except Burma) within the historical timeline..and have inflicted some hard blows on the enemy.
Mid game is coming soon in our match..and I will try to gain another decisive blow on my tormentors!
