Ok here we go.
8000 pts, no air, no infiltrators.
We are both playing with nations that are somewhat unfamiliar to us in Pbem. I hope I don't blow the whole thing in the purchase phase
Turn 1: I move my units forward, no contact except a lone PAK shoots once at my scout car. The front is quiet in a nerv wrecking way. The day is beautiful, and because of the great visibility, there are only a few places to hide.

Few hiding places indeed, saw some Soviet recon forces trying to hide in the woods in the south, plus two KV-85s further back on the road. A couple of shots exchanged for little result.
Still quiet in the north, but I wonder what lies behind that huge hill.

No much action, some Jerries op-fire with little chances to hit, it's quiet on all fronts.
some german MC -squads are sighted both at north and at south, so there might be some light arms shooting in the next turn.

Some light shooting, then a MC squad bumps into a T34/85 platoon with accompanying infantry:eek: Run away!
Up north, Soviet forces are seen setting up defensive positions, nothing much happening yet. Too quiet...

Ok finally something happened, an MC-squad ran into trouble and was destroyed by T-34s, and a german armed halftrack disintegrated from an 85mm round. My T-34s tried to take a few shots on far away StuG's, but all missed.
**** my OB artillery, I've had no contact with them in the last two turns. Well, at least they are now saved for later barrages.

The german motorcycles on the north flank are unable to find a gap in the Soviet defense, 57mm AT, 12.7 HMG and some more KV-85.
Instead, they settle for shooting up some opposing recon, and while chasing some bikers run into lots of Russian armour with infantry on top, or in halftracks. The nearest vehicle is an OT-34/58:(
Some shots exchanged between a Stug and a T-34, Stug scores two hits, doing some hull damage. Still a a lot more of them behind the crest of the hill, better dig in and prepare for the big red wave...
Meanwhile in the south, the hunt is on for those T-34s that killled those bikers. They're quickly found, along with more KVs and halftracks. Fortunately no OTs yet, but there's bound to be more of them. They're like popcorn, you can't have just the one:D
My troops also took some prisoners (according to the report, they challenged the opposing Hell's Angels chapter to a tug-of-war and won

)
They'll be treated for their wounds and prepared for interrogation as soon as they're fit. (ever seen 'Marathon man'

)

Huh, that was a long brake from playing
I lost an IS-2 to a missclick, my bad
Some shots were exchanged with stugs and T-34, but to no avail.

A few more shots traded with a T34. Lost a Stug in the proces, but the Russki is still there:mad:
Got one of those pesky 57mm though.
On the other side of the map a a kuebelwagen is confettied by a 122 shell. Better be careful out there.
