It is my understanding that the game's release was moved to Q1 2022. My question is does anyone know if they started accepting new beta testers? I heard that there was going to be a second wave of beta testers? I applied for the first one and was not selected so I am hoping to figure out whether they send out a new wave of approvals and I was not selected again or they have not started yet.

In the DW 2 Impatience Thread Erik Rutins said said they will process the applications this week and will let us know when this wave of the beta is over.

We're expecting to add in the second wave of testers in the coming week. It won't be a very large number. I'll post here to let you know when the last of that wave is in.

It will be a relief to find out if I get access. Not much gets my blood pumping these days. I will be happy either way - I am just excited that this whole thing is happening.

Sorry I was joking that instead of testing DW2 we have been uncovering issues in the beta process itself.

As a very very long-time fan of the series and with 20+ years of strategy gaming I can say I have never been so excited about a game...
Silly to say at 40+ but here it is I am compulsively checking my email and yesterday i got a heartache receiving a mail from Silterhine about participating in a beta.... which unfortunately was for WEGO world war II!!! ahahaha

Look forward, if selected, in providing valuable feedback on the game. If not in still providing feedback post-release ^_^

So, what are the chances of the invites still happening this week?

I am not doubting you are trying to fix it, but it does feel like the disruption is a lot more severe then originally tought.
Sometimes trying to get something done ASAP only causes more delays in the long run, as you avoid the "takes long but is reliable" solution.

i also check my emails more frequently. Funny coz normally i only check them once a week hahahaha the hype is getting real, but i dont want to get my hopes up and go crazy. Given how many people want to get their hands on this game i would say the chances are pretty slim.
