put my final app collection online, I decided to leave it there for wargamers, But I have retired so I cant support the users any more, due to me having new interests.

there is over 70 apps turn-based and wargames etc.. all free and run on windows PC but there is a terminal Linux cchess app

I had planned never to put this online but I still get asked for apps around the net, so if you could post the link?

Of all the games, what would you recommend I download, with the criteria being fairly hardcore TBS with an editor?

I am bias but I would try BLitzkriege engine and wartac combat! and spacewar all 3 have editors, but my pet love is redcoats and scots. although not everyones cup of tea I like the game, but you get all the apps in one download. I also like rogue3 and road warrior roguelikes. the My virtual table top has some games with it, to be honest Im not the best person to ask I like them all in one way or another

if you have too many scenarios in spwaw I recomened spwaw launch pad

RPG i recomend encounter cards and WoDPro.

MY BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT WITH ALL THESE IS INVENTING THE BOARDGAME "BATTLEBOARDCHESS" the game is meant to be played on a chess board with square chits with swords and shields on each edge you rotate when swords and shields clash etc.. somebody printed it out and made the game in real life https://youtu.be/om2V5WsE8Uc

here is the final version of the Redcoats and Scots Rebellion Turn based wargame, This is the Pro Version, the difference from the old free version is you can see the Dice Rolls and What attacks get through and Miss, some upgraded graphics etc..
