Hello! I'm new to the forum and game while planning to create some mod!I've made a complete list of all in game and propsed AT weappns's real world HEAT pen value and planning to translate it into in game database HEAT damage point. Thus, I wonder how those in game AT weapon HEAT damage points correspond to the real world value? Is there a formula to calculate or?

HEAT Pen rating is real-world RHA in mm / 15. The new game engine for Southern Storm will be Pen/10 for a bit more resolution.

Darwin, I also wondered that what the point is having ERA 2 in game(I kinda get that ERA 3 is like Kontakt 5 while ERA 4 is more like Relikt or other more advanced ERA)? I kinda feel weird that some soviet tanks in game have ERA 1 while some have ERA 2 despite they all use the same Kontat-1 ERA... And what is the difference between IR-L and NV in game? Which one is superior I wonder?

ERA Type 1 is equal to Kontakt-1 performance and ERA Type 2 is Kontakt-3 performance and the others are as you note. IR-L is an infra-red searchlight with limited illumination range and NV is night vision which is light amplification providing better range performance.

Thank you for replying! But I still need to point out that Kontakt-3 is basically a Kontakt-1 in a different container in order to fit it into different installation locations on the same tank.
Source is from BTVT, the article mentioned that there are three variants of Kontakt-1 and the size of containers is their only difference. Sorry I can't post link, but you can go to the site and find that article under section ОГНЕВАЯ МОЩЬ
ЗАЩИТА ПОДВИЖНОСТЬ, the name of that article is "Динамическая защита Контакт, Контакт-5,Реликт (CCCР, РФ)"
