I try to launch the PBEM tab and it tells me I need to update to 1.12.02. I search for that update and it is not there. Tried uninstalling and reinstalled and still does not work. Any ideas?

The issue I am having is that I bought the game through GOG not Matrix. So when I load the patch, it does not seem to be able to find the folder. I manually set up a folder with the correct name and re-installed the game in that folder and then uploaded the new version but it still did not work. Suggestions?

Unfortunately you cannot apply the Matrix patch to the GoG version of the game. The good news is that GoG should automatically update the game for you. If it did not, then you can try to manually force it into updating via the little button next to the 'Play' button. Once you click on that you should see a 'Check for updates' option.
