I recently had a situation where I wanted to diplobomb Vichy France with the Allies.
So I put all my chits from US, UK and France into it. When I clicked on USSR to put their chits on top the game switched the selected target away from Vichy to Algeria.
So I accidently put the russian points there.

Its no big deal, since the game is won anyway but I found it irritating.
Maybe this can be looked upon at some point.

Thanks and my guess is the country list for applicable Diplomacy was not the same count as it was for the others, so the shift to a new target for the USSR. It could happen in reverse as well, if starting with the USSR and going to other countries. I'll look into it to see if it is an easy and intuitive fix.

Yes you are right. Western Allies have different options for Diplo than Russia. I should have noticed it since it jumped from the bottom (Vichy) to the very top (Algeria).
But I didnt.
Dont know if thats even worth the effort but maybe there is an easy solution.

Yeah I'm not sure if there is an easy solution, as it could happen in reverse too if you start with the USSR and then go to the Western Allies and it could have a jump that way too and especially if there is a country not shared with each list.
