I hope this game goes down well with you, you guys seem to like me giving out free wargames, it Xmas and I thought I would put my Land battles sim online for waragers, because lets face it youngons want CoD

it for windows PC will run on XP,Vista,7,8,10

Land Battles Tactical This is a hard-core turn-based Wargame with a cracking A.I. its pixel based instead of squares or hexes, each pixel is a location making a small area much more detailed. There are Victory Objectives, Leaders, you can play WW2 against the SS, Or setup any battle in the easy Editor, the editor allows for all kinds of easy to place things like Walls LineOfSight blockers, Terrain effects modifiers Roads, and each chit has many differrent properties.

Does the game include a full map editor? From what I can tell you can do some stuff to maps, but can you create them?

You can put any PNG in as a Map in the modules folder of the scenario, then go into the game and select "E" to get into the editor lay some Victory points and Road zones, TEMs and Lineofsight blockers and walls and walls the A.I. cant pass through, then exit the editor press save, exit the program go into the module folder of the sceanrio it already will load with the load button but to make it automatic load when you start the modules rename the save.dat savedata.dat, I think thats everything best check the help files too
Hope that helps in a nut shell. its very easy once youve done one, edit an image in MSPaint that comes with windows or something and draw a map, or paste in bits from the net. thaen save it at the over the png in the modules folder.

here are 3 Maps somebody made for it, he made a mapping tool and made maps for it, I dont think they can be included for comercial use, he made them for me and i dont know anything more.

Just finished programming a high definition version(1920x1080), now has a map more than three times bigger. it has produced some interesting ideas for battles on the bigger maps, Just got to add art and setup the battles, may have a release by christmas , but taking the time to do it properly as the game is really good! Im amazed at how good it is high res.
dont know if anybody is interested though, matrix sale prob takes all your time, me too, but I shall proceed.

ok Ive updated the screenshots at the top of thread, I iron out all the teething problems now, Fixed delay on end turn, fixed mouse select going to fast, updated the graphics see pics, add numbers on the save load slots, cant remember what else a lot of minor niggles.
its finished, thats the last programing updtate , I may add modules etc in the future.
PS one of the maps I did like the how to attack a tiger in SPWaW
I feel like Im spamming giving update, but I thought I had finished only to find more issues, but I can confidently say its finished and Im not posting any more. Happy Christmas and new year , I hope you acept my present to you old grogs
