Hi Darwin, I'm going to create a few new units for my mod, so I wonder what source did the team use to create silhouettes? Is it shipbucket or is it tank encyclopedia? Also, I knew how to use GIMP to create similar-looking silhouettes as those in-game, but how do I get them into the correct in-game aspect ratio?

As I know you need to create a *.bmp image with 128(width) x 64(heights) pixels aspect Ratio with transparent back ground or any other colors( but only single color band shall surrounded your silhouette.

I also like to know about improvement of that aspect ratio in updated game engine, can we use bigger images to have better view?

That is the question Darwin can clear for us.

I use whatever decent side views I can find on the internet. Three view drawings are good or even pictures of side views, but those take time to clean up.

In Red Storm the type and sizes are fixed as you note. In the new Cold War game engine the sils are PNG and twice as big 256x128, grayscale, and transparent.

I will check with William on if the new counter code auto scales sils.
