German Surender

Enjoying the game immensely, albeit as a newbie and only playing against the AI.
On a couple of occasions playing the full campaign I've managed to reduce German national morale to 0% and bring the game to a conclusion. However, the A-H and Turks were still fighting with their morale in the region of low twenties. Is there a way of continuing the game with Germany knocked out?
One of the main reasons for asking is I've never captured Constantinople or Vienna by game end, despite being in one or two moves of doing it. Once I had the option of Turkey fracturing in to a war of liberation but I accepted their surrender. Probably more of a 'what if' scenario but I'm curious.
Is there a script I can disable?
TIA

Hi
Yes, if you turn off the Victory scripts, then you'll be able to continue playing.
To do this go to Options -> Advanced -> Scripts

Thank you ever so much, I'll do that next time I play the campaign.
I had a look in the saved game in question, but no victory scripts are listed (obvious school boy error as the game is over!) and the previous save is 6 hours of gaming time earlier and with the scripts. Just goes to show I couldn't put this one down.
Thanks again!

Ha...there have been a few all night sessions. Really enjoy playing it, I've played Guns of August and Great War Commander but this game is not only the rightful successor IMHO but also has immense replayability. Mrs Evzone has even commented on the soundtrack, whistles and explosions.
Great stuff and hopefully new scenarios to try in the future: I noticed members on here discussing a Turtledove ACW, Balkans and post WW1 Soviet-Polish War. This is my only game on Steam so don't have a clue how to work those.
Anyway.... got there in the end, thanks for the advice!

It really is the best of them all and what makes it even better is the Devs continue to improve the game based on our feedback. So keep the feedback coming. Also the instructions for those mods should be in the mod thread on how to install and get them to work.
All of those other games were stopped being worked on long ago but there is a nice mod for Commander the Great War that really improves it:

Thanks for mentioning my mod for CTGW. If people are interested I'll be more than happy to answer any questions about it at the respective subforums either here at Matrix or over at Slitherine's.
