Okay, okay...I know that this question will probably be the cause of many, many kittens demise, but:
When will Warring Suns be shipped? The Store is still down, the 16th has almost passed, and we still have no news...
Would anybody please enlighten me?

My crystal ball cracked when I asked the same question. My magic 8-ball turned up a Maybe. I would say late June is the best answer. Its really close but I don't know a definite date.

The development team (Vicious Byte) has already delivered the final code version to Matrixgames. Now they are finishing all what is necessary for a good final release.

I'm trying so hard to not play 1.4 any more while I wait for WS. Tis a thing not easily accomplished.
So git along, little doggies!
In fact, if you work for Matrix and you're reading this... stop now, and get back to WORK!

Once you play Titans of Steel Warring Suns you'll not bother with the freeware. TOSWS is a much better game.

This is true, but it does have the advantage of being free, so you can still play netgames with people who're too poor to buy ToS:WS.

Nice, I'm hoping it'll hit some shelves near me by the 4th at least. I'm hosting an Independence Day LAN party extravaganza and I've got a horde of pals who are ready to accompany me to the shops and invest.
If it comes out AFTER the 4th, no biggie, but I'll probably have to buy all the copies myself. And that's no fun at all. :p
I'll just have to eat cheese crackers at work for lunch every day for a week. Nothing I can't handle.

I recommend the Pot noodle:)
This game just keeps looking better and better to me. I'm not surprised since I used to love staying up late playing battletech, warhammer 40k, and many other table top games. I used to wish there was a computer game like this to handle all the details. We were going through to many erasers. I really liked the freeware so I'm hoping the Titans of Steel Warring Suns game is even better. If thats possible.

Oh it is very much possible. Once you pick WS up, there's no turning back.

yeh - with me, see, I'll have to buy a new comp in order to run it... and I'll need at least a 23" flatscreen, and a terabyte of HDD's, and.. erm... I'd better stop now before i scream in futility. My total worth at the moment is $9.25 and isn't improving.

Titansofsteel.de is promoting a new release date of July 14. And my friendly local EB salesman says the shipping date on their records isn't until the 27th.
Fooey I say!
I'm gonna go hungry, and it's all because of you guys!

Thats what David Heath wrote in the Korsun forum on june, 25th. I guess its true for TOS: WS too, the games are handled together.

That places the euro releast around the 1st week of August...
I'd say that the anticipation kills me, but a wise man once remarked this:
Don't worry, anticapation never kills. just maims. Don't you feel better now?
I survived 2 years of waiting. Still, I planned to explore the game thoroughly in my vacation, and now it seems it comes out 2 weeks after the vacation ends...
Any chance Just Play manages a more timely release?
-Silvermane,
feeling thoroughly maimed.
