WiE 2 German Assault Armies Limit

I am playing War in the East 2 as the Axis and am on the fourth turn in July 1941 of a campaign game I started two days ago. My understanding, from reading the manual, and in a prior game, is that I can have up to six Assault Armies as the Axis in 1941. I currently have four. When I try to convert another army to an Assault Army I get a pop-up stating "can't have more than four assault HG's. A screenshot with the pop-up is attached.

I did upgrade to the latest patch, 1.02.01_Beta recently. Is that the reason for the change? If so, what is the rationale?

Thank you for your responses.

Yes you are quite correct the amount of assault armies dropped to four in the latest patch. As to why you can find that on the forum I believe , hopefully a more informed member or admin will direct you to the correct post

Because it was determined having six was overkill.

I am also playing GC and as a newbie - 4 assault armies for me is not enough. Also on some videos on youtube you can see that limit on assault corp was set to 12 max while now we have only 10.
Its impossible to move forward with infantry while maintaining at least some CPP.

There was a long, long, long discussion about this on the forums already. Battle has been fought and decided for better (I think) or worse.
