According to the manual ( 16.4.11) the soviet side will get new air groups depending on what is available in the pools.

1. is that rule still valid considering we had a number of patches?

2. how exactly does it work ?

2. How can I tell the difference between new units raised and regular planned reinforcements which you also get?

1 - yes

2 - the actual formula/routine is not in the manual (prob for a reason), no idea if you can dig it out of the editor

3 - the crop up with v low exp and morale but can sometimes claim modern planes that cannot be used to equip regular formations. Easy to spot with a few CR filters
