Hi,

My brother and I are wanting to play a PBEM game but having issues.

We are able to create a challenge and start the game, whoever is the Axis can play their turn. When the person ends the turn it appears to upload the turn but the WarPlan main screen is blank. We have to restart the game, when we look at the Multiplayer menu it appears that the turn was not loaded. We have tried this several times but continue to get the same problem.

Looking for assistance to resolve this. I think my brother is eager to play the Germans and take over the world, and I need to put him in his place.

Any suggestions would be most welcome!

Which version of Warplan do you have? Is it the latest one?

Could you please check and post any errors in the Player.log file? This file is located in the directory C:\Users\<User>\AppData\LocalLow\Kraken Studios\WarPlan.

This is usually a permission issue or a security software issue not allowing you to communicate with the server.

You probably want to allow WarPlan to send information through. The installer is supposed to take care of this but on occasion some security software just gets stubborn.

Matrix or Steam purchase BTW?

Quick update. I went to recreate the issue to review the player.log file. After I looked over the .log and didn't see any errors, I then returned to the game I notice that the menu had came back and the Multiplayer menu showed that the game had switched to my brothers turn. So, apparently I wasn't giving the system enough time to do it's magic and, I'm guessing, close the game which would disrupt the upload.

I will get with my brother and let him know what I found and hopefully with some "patience" starting going after each other.

Wait till you get a message that says upload successful before plowing to the next game.
