When Germans are attacking i.e. doing Strategic Bombing, the Air to Air Combat is usually at the advantage of the Germans. 1:4, 1:5, here 2:6.

Now using this fighter group in full support mode.

It has the same attributes than No. 1 Ftr except No. 1 Ftr is 1941 Interceptor whereas 4th Ftr Grp is 1940 Interceptor.

Doing Strategic bombing against Stuttgart.

I am surprised by the result against my best Air Combat 8 unit. Ratio 1:1.

Reloading next try. Ratio 3:1 for the French.

Reloading next try. Ratio 4:3 for the Germans.

Reloading next try. Ratio 4:3 for the French.

I recall for the fighters used Germans Air Combat 8 vs French Air Combat 5.

What is suddenly making the French far better in Air to Air combat than when the Germans are attacking?
There is something I don't understand.

Second question, is the algorithm that first Air to Air combat is fought before the second one? So the bombers are attacked with the remaining factors of the fighters defending?

The formula is right. You are looking at flaws in the specifics in a huge system.

They do the same damage to each other in every air to air combat because they use the same formula.

This is my point. If they are using the same formula, why when French plays, the formula gives better results for them than when the Germans plays?
If you are sure this is right, I am closing the point. I will convince myself this is just bad luck.
