As I ponder purchasing this I need to know if there is an AI yet, a negative response is a no-go for this single player. Cheers.

Maybe in a few years... but I find it very enjoyable solo; your mileage may vary.

IMHO this game is much better suited for solitaire play than most others.

There is no AI . They are working on it but it may take a long time.
This game is the typical game that most people (even those used to AI only) would love to play against a human player.
I have played this game in the board but in the computer I always wanted games with an AI, but this is fun! A shame it still has bugs.
