We have a new installer version for the Public Beta, which you can find on the Store page or 'My Page' if you're logged in and have the game registered.

v01.02.08 – Changelog

New Features and Rule Changes
• Reduced the chance that HE fire by non-infantry type weapons will gain extra shots during direct fire phases.
Bug Fixes and AI Improvements
• Escorts are not flying in ground support air missions. Fixed.
• Vehicles in isolated depots are being returned to the pool in exchange for freight. If enough are sent back, this can make the pocket think it is in airhead supply. Isolated trucks should not be returning vehicles. Fixed.
• Soviet Romanian HQs are being disbanded automatically for the human player. Fixed.
• AI - Axis AI moves a unit into an enemy controlled hex without taking control of the hex, and is then destroyed. Fixed.

I should note that the HE fire reduction affects the attacker more than the defender and more tweaks in this area are ongoing, pending more internal testing and external feedback, but hopefully this will resolve the worst of the artillery balance issues from the previous beta changes.

I don't know why but only North America 1 is working, other 2 links gives error. Same was with the previous update. Windows 10, Firefox

NOOOOOOO My German artillery superiority!!!!!! [:-]

I've to check it out but I did not felt German artillery overpowered [&:]- but I also experimented it only in 1 game and half (the 'half' was 8 turns).

I run into the same problems, whether using Firefox or Edge. Also Windows 10.

Is any one experiencing CTD with this Beta?

I did not find an issue with the artillery being overpowered for either side. I hope this was not an overreaction due to a squeaky wheel.

I haven't seen a massive change in this patch. Artillery is still a lot stronger than it used to be.
