Something odd I have encountered recently while trying to build a nuclear war scenario is that SLBMs do not have a boost phase. Normally, the booster/missile should fly part of the trajectory, and then as the terminal phase of the flight begins, the RVs separate and make their way towards separate targets, automatically selecting the closest units to the one targeted by the player.

However, in a scenario I made earlier and the test scenario I have uploaded, the RVs appear to either separate immediately, or the missile is not fired at all and instead the SSBN is "firing" the RVs.

I am using DB3000 v491. I run v1.04 - Build 1147.33

I think a few of the issues you are seeing might have been addressed in the latest updates. Might want to check the change logs on those.

I have checked the changelogs for .34 through .37 (latest beta) but do not see anything related to the problems I have reported.

I am assuming "pathfinding fixes" refer to things like AI controlled ships, planes, mobile land units, and subs. Do non-retargetable guided weapons use "pathfinding" as well?

Apologies if it is a no brainer question with an obvious answer. If yes, then the issue with circling RVs may not be present, and I would have to check, but if no, then it does not appear any of the issues have been solved.

I just remember several of the issues were reported before. I wasn't sure whether they had been fixed in the latest updates.

Hi SunlitZelkova, I've done several testing on this scenario (related to your other post) and tested on a couple more, No issue found, It was probably fixed as per thewood1's reply

Not likely anything will get done about this
