Hot Patch 04 04 00 01

Post by Shannon V. OKeets »

Below is a DropBox link to HotPatch version 04.04.00.01.

DropBox is easy to use. You just go to the link (it is an https:/www.dropbox.com link).

Within the zipped file are: (1) the new version of MWIF.exe, and (2) the Release Notes for that version.

Note that to use this Hot Patch you have to have installed the Public Beta 04.02.00.00.

==================

Release Notes for Hot Patch Version 04.04.00.01

(changes since 04.04.00.00)

All Modes of Play

Naval Operations

1. Fixed an obscure problem with loading units onto a naval transport that had been a floating port (but that optional rule had been turned off during the game).

Game Save/Restore

2. Fixed a problem in restoring saved games, created with version 04.02.00.16 (and later), where all trade agreements became mandatory. When restoring a saved game, the program now checks for those that are marked as mandatory to see if they really should be mandatory. If they are marked incorrectly, the program sets them as having a duration of One Turn.

Cosmetic
3. Modified the position of the opening splash screen so when playing with a larger monitor, the form is centered in the monitor (instead of being in the upper left hand corner).

Sorry. It won't reload my saved game. It tries to but sits there spinning its wheels and it says, from memory, "MWiF_2019 not responding". I went back to my previous MWiF.exe and everything works again.
