Juicy encirclement against 115 AI

So the AI re shift its forces into this huge bulge. Even tho Moscow is under threat of being attacked on both flanks. I was removing 2nd army from the centre of bulge to the north as few troops were left inside it, and so 4th army could move up more. Then boom AI commits a huge force to the bulge. So I was able to cut across from the north and south and link up 2nd panzer forces and 1 panzer forces. (I just linked them up)

well from personal experience you now have a problem. Collapsing that sort of pocket is a 2-3 turn operation that can leave a chunk of your army bruised. Now in the end it pays off as units removed but my instinct is that is going to hamper you into November, not helped by the coming rains [;)]
my last vs AI game/AAR I pulled off a really nice pocket along the Desna and it took 2 infantry armies to take it out, effectively stalling me before Kharkov

Ya its going to take a while to collapse that pocket. I dont have a lot of infantry division around it either. So i will have to move them into position too. i might have to abandon my encirclement around Moscow as I dont have enough infantry for this pocket, flanks and the encirclement drive of Moscow. But will have to see.

Please inform us of the aftermath of the AI's massive error. I at least would be interested in learning the consequences reducing the pocket. Winter is coming, as the Starks are so fond of saying.

Don't worry I'm sure those Italians will clear up in no time. Excellent front line troops
