Going to do a few small mods on in game icons down the road...more enhance/clean then anything. Graphically the game is beautiful.
Saw the string on enhancements on hill graphics like in Operation Flashpoint (I own that game and use that mod). I would do it but it is beyond my expertise. I hope that comes to pass.

I think we've had this discussion before? The broad consensus back then was that, as long as you are not forced to do it, there is no harm to people who don't want it. Or do you want to censor people in general?

The symbol is historically correct for the time period. Some people prefer that to an anachronistic symbol. If the flag bothers you, ignore the mod.

Don't forget today, January 27 is International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
A moment of silence for all those killed by the followers of that Nazi trademark.

One doesn't have to own a game to be anti-Nazi.
But, yes, I looked forward to the game as it was for a battle I have a weakness for. I bought it on the first day and did play some but other commitments came first.
I did come here to see what was being written about the game and no fault of the developer of course, but to see what people are doing to keep the symbols of Nazism alive has left a very bad taste in my mouth. So bad that I've uninstalled the game and will likely never play it again.

Great looking mod but I am unable to activate it. I put JSGME enabler is in the mod folder as well as your flag mod. Dragged mod in enabler. Selected mod moved file into Activated Mods. 1 mod activated. Still mod does not show up. Help or further help would be appreciated.

Thank you for the mod and the historical flag. I did a mod with historical flags for War in the East 2. Ignore those who protest. There is no merit to them.

Sorry about not following up on some things. Real world stuff (elderly parent) is consuming my time. Glad you like the mod..

You know (or don't know) that there is a school of thought that says, if you keep the symbols secret, nobody will know what they stand for. I imagine that could be the reason for their usage in America for instance.

For those of you that don't want to use JSGME, I copied the three folders, ardennes, ardennesBIG, and ardennesSMALL into the graphicsAlt folder and the flags showed up perfectly. This was with the Steam install, not the Matrix version. No idea if it causes any other problems, I just took a stab at it and it seems to be fine.

That method will work, until someone (say a developer) decides that a new major patch is needed, and the update overwrites them. ... Better keep a backup
