I must be missing it in the (most excellently hardbound) rulebook:

1. How do you transfer an airgroup from one airbase to another? I am not using automated air AI.

2. Will airgroups "stage" to a forward airbase for strike purposes, if no manual xfers allowed?

I am aware that airgroups/or AOGs can be set to follow a particular HQ.

Absolutely air will NOT form as you might expect.

Need to press A to see AOG's , will be auto when that turn comes.

Best way is to pres C commandeers report then go to AOG. This will list all AOG.


To move you must select the group ( eg St 54) this will allow to expand the air types in the airfiled. These can be moved individually.

Then click either on the Air Group and press shift as you drag it to the new airfiled. A box will appear which you drag. Can do immediate or planned airfield. Do planned if not critical as it tries to prepair the base.


This is very frustrating at first but after a while gets easy..
