I have always found small scenarios interesting. So, here is an DAR of my game versus AI.
The scenario is named An August Morning.

I am playing Iron difficulty - Turn-Based mode. The day is beautiful apart from the war. My platoon, the 1st platoon, is tasked to perform a recon patrol. Our deployment zone is covered by woods.

The 1st platoon is composed as follows:

1st platoon HQ will stay covered for now. Obviously, only the 1st squad will be the mobile element for this mission. The other teams are assigned the task to provide overwatch and covering fire to the advancing 1st squad while it is executing its movement.

The 1st team, a Forward Observer team, will be given a small target arc in order to not reveal its position. It will advance slowly to a place where it can monitor the battlefield and provide some indirect fires on the enemy.




Associated to this FO team, there is a 120mm mortar ready to smash any opposition.

The two MMG teams will be used to provide a base of fire for my only advancing unit: 1st Squad.

1st squad will be the advancing element. I suspect that the enemy will wait the last minute to open fire against us. As such, I will not expose all my squad. Instead, I will surely split the squad.
