Soviet artillery regiment

I start to wonder if there is a difference between different regiments of Soviet artillery in battle?
When forming, it is clear what the essence is. I have different types of guns that, when replenishing parts, go as some kind of common pool. For example, I have guns 152mm ML-20, M-10, Br-2 and M1909.
When forming and / or refitting a part, the game uses the available weapons of the desired type from the available pool.
But is there any combat difference between different regiments on the same guns?
For example, the ToE 41cCAR is almost identical to the 41GR, they both use the same pool of guns of the same type, but differ only in the amount of support 105 versus 106.
The same applies to other ToE Soviet artillery regiments.
They all consist of similar guns, are there any combat differences between them?
I mean, for example, the Howitzer Regiment fires directly at the infantry, and a regiment similar in ToE, but related to the CGR, is already conducting a counter-battery fight?
Or, for example, a howitzer regiment does not have the ability to fire in the melee phase, while guns related to field guns can fire in this phase?
Are there any observations?
