Hello all! Loading up some cinematics in Tacview and I am having trouble getting Tacview open through C:MO.

"It appears that the Tacview executable you have specified is Invalid. Please use a valid executable."

I have reinstalled Tacview and switched from x64 and normal .exe Tacview files, but nothing seems to work!

Is this just a me problem, or something more widespread? I could just be an idiot of course [:D]

Going to try and revert to an older version to see.

I am having the same issue with the latest beta. Opening Tacview in game gives me the same error: "It appears that the Tacview executable you have specified is Invalid. Please use a valid executable."

Rolling back to the latest official version fixes the problem. I had the same issue with the earlier beta too.

Any advice?

Same issue here. We've simply got to wait for the next official version, I assume, or to use a previous build.

I had the same issue on win 7 with the trial version of TACVIEW and I haven't ever managed to solve it.I've never tried the full version.

Build 1147.42 is now official but the problem with Tacview is still there. "It appears that the Tacview executable you have specified is Invalid. Please use a valid executable."

With Build 1147.34 it worked fine. Is there anything I could do or try?

this issue was fixed for me when I opted out of Tacview beta in Steam settings and reverted back to the latest stable version of Tacview.

An update is on the way which will fix the issue with Tacview 1.8.8.
