Come on guys, you finally update the ancient forum software and Im still unable to set a complex password. Are you deliberately trying to get hacked?

Thanks for the feedback. The issue is that older games have password requirements that prevent this. If we let you set your password up then you would not be able to play a bunch of older games in PBEM. So this is for backwards compatibility. This is one of the down sides of having a very long shelf life on our games.

I am very happy with my 7 character easy to remember (probably easy to hack, but this is not a banking app) password.

So please don't change the current password scheme to anything than what it currently is please.

I really don't want to have to be forced to type in to all my MP games anything like this:

that is why there is such thing as "remember me"
as on a websites
