Well, I and others have uploaded a ton of Zip files over the past few years in the "Mods and Scenarios/Useful Material/Import/Export Facilities DB: Get them here" section and they now seem to be gone. I put up probably hundreds of facilities over the last 3-4 years and now they're all gone. Am I missing something? Did they all get transported somewhere else or are they just gone? When I go out to "Mods and Scenarios" people posted a lot of different scenarios for testing and I don't see how I can get those links now either. Hopefully, I'm just missing something here but I'm a bit concerned.

To be clear, could you give us a specific link to a thread or post that lost its zipped attached file during the move?

I just checked in with our admin, who is working to resolve the performance issues, and was told that the migration of attached files is still in progress. I'd expect to see those attachments return soon, they are not lost.

Sorry, for some reason I thought I was in the CMO-specific forum, not the main page! I can give you a link to the thread but there were numerous posts, way too many to link. See below.

The Font is way to tiny. Now I have to hold my laptop up close to read the messages that I get....GP

You have attachments limited to 256KB in the AAR section of witp:AE. That effectively kills a lot of the fun and usefulness of AARs.

The current blue on gray for thread titles, links etc. doesn't work for me.

Maybe a darker blue? Or make options available in preferences to change the colours?

The list goes on.
Yes, as I stated above it's all of them but that's because the attachment migration is still in progress.

The first post has a tip on going back to "wide" mode. You can also use Control+Mousewheel to zoom in on any web page to make it larger.

You may have to resort to an online hosting facility, I use Imgur it’s free and I just take any old screenshots and past them there and then I copy the BBC link and paste them here.

Thanks for letting us know, I'll ask for this to be fixed.

I'd strongly suggest using fonts that anti-alias properly on screens when displayed at such a small point size. So much easier to read when you turn off the Noto Sans and Helveticas and just let it display in the default Verdana at this small size. It's different if the size is larger, then you don't get the blurriness.

The font size has not changed from the old forum to the new, as far as I can tell.

I'm not sure what you mean by turning off the Noto Sans and Helvetica?

I downloaded the extension dark reader, it really helps the readability of the forum.

So the forum looks like this and is rendering using Trebuchet MS for the title (which isn't too bad) but is using Noto Sans or Helvetica to render the small description.

By just changing the Noto Sans, Helvetica to Verdana (which is not a great font BUT is specifically designed for use at small sizes) and keeping the point size the same etc this is the result which is heaps more legible.
Image

If you then change the Title from Trebuchet MS to Verdana and ditch the Bold (which makes it look terrible) you get a very legible result.

So no change in font size - just using fonts that are designed to be used at this size. :)
