I see that 1.00.06.1 is available for download from My Page. I assume this is the fix for the scenarios. Will there also be a fix for the WP scenarios as I saw a post from Alvaro about a download for WP.

That patch is wrong. I just updated it and it is still 1.00.06.

It reverted my build. I put in a 1.00.06.1 for last week but they never got to it so I was told.

Are you saying that this is the wrong file and it should be 1.00.06?

Yea they put the new patch with the wrong files.

I asked them to redo it. So they are in the process of doing it.

I will post here when it is done. It will have everything correct including the reinforce or upgrade feature.

Just wondering when the corrected patch will be released as we won't start a new game of WPP until then. Thanks.

I am running version 6.1 and the campaign files are now automatically placed in the correct location. So I assume this is the current version, however I have not checked to see if the reinforcement/upgrade feature is working correctly.

We had already installed 1.00.06.1 as well but according to Alvaro's response those files are still not correct so we won't be starting a new PBEM game until he posts the correct files.

I'm waiting on them to update all the files. I sent the corrections.

I just downloaded 1.00.06.1 and extracted it from the zip file, but haven't had a chance to test it yet.

I'm assuming that a lot of Matrix/Slitherine resources have been tied up rolling out the new forum.

In that context, any word on Steam keys being available in the near future ?

(I saw the other thread but wasn't sure how to interpret it).

One of the things I like about Steam as a delivery system is that updates are fairly automatic.

Coming back to this game, I have just read this thread. Is the 1.00.06.1 patch (date 21-Feb-2022) the correct one?

There is one for March 9th now. That should be the right one. They might have put is as 1.00.162 but it's the correct 161.

This is getting confusing. On March 1st you indicated that you post the corrected patch in the forum. I just looked at My Page and I see 1.00.06.2. Is this then the patch that you were planning to post at the forum? Does it also fix the issue with submarines? Thanks.

I happened to check My Page again and as of Mar 14, 2022, the update for WarPlan Pacific is now showing as 1.00.06.2.

Everything gets there eventually.

(Steam is also showing a release date of March 17 -- I'm guessing that's when we'll get our Steam keys).

It wasn't botched on my end.

Anyways now there should be less errors in updates as I took over the installation of scenarios from within the game itself. Less errors.
