Hello guys :)

After more than 8 months of playing, I think I begin to understand the basics of the game :o
What I dont understand till now: from where do you get information about how to set up your aircrafts? Which altitude in the specific situation? Day, Night? How many percentage escort? And which bombload? It would be nice if someone can tell me, where I can find those informations?

Thank you :=)

Take a look at page 38 in the manual. That page I believe is what your looking for.

Forgot one thing. To change the aircraft's bomb load you need to go thru the model's loadouts which is bringing up the unit info on that squadron or plane type. I normally use the CR to modify loadouts. Saves a lot of clicking. If your looking for advice there are several AAR's and Air War help threads on the forum.

general advice? Stick to the generated defaults for most of these things, works surprisngly well

bombload, work on this logic. If its moving, something small dropped by an agile plane, if its static and very heavy (like a factory, a railyard or a level 3 fortifications), something big dropped by a level bomber.

higher your planes, less flak but less accuracy, so trade off on those variables

For GS, in the main don't use your few heavy bombers but other than that a mix of FB, tactical bombers and level bombers like Ju-88 or Pe-2 are all fine.
