Hi all,

anyone any ideas why I am unable to download the latest update?

Screenshot attached but it says.

Error:

Unable to download file.
An error occurred while trying to open an FTP file.

Had the same thing, downloaded the zip from forum page and started the .exe

Thanks, I will give it a go. Am still interested in what the issue is. I assume not everyone has it.

Its been years since the Matrix updater has worked for me. Used to complain about it. Now just live with it. If its an official update and not a beta, you can also go to the Matrix.com My Page and download it.

I downloaded the file and tried to install. Did not work. I have uninstalled the whole game and reinstalled. I try to install the update and get Land-cover map files not found! Aborting...

All very frustrating.

That error usually means you haven't installed things in the right order or in the right directories. If you reinstall, make sure you install the full installer and then the update.

I installed CMO-MultiSetup-v1.02.114714

I left the directory as the default it offered.

I did enable all the DLC that I have keys for in addition to the CMO key at the same time.

I started CMO and it loaded fine and I loaded a scenario, which seemed fine.

Then I tried to install UpdatePack_B1147.42 and received the error.

I am not sure what CMO-MultiDLCSetup-Latest.zip is and if I need it.

I am also not clear on what, what appears to be the latest update has a date back in Oct?

Does this folder exist?
\Matrix Games\Command Modern Operations\GIS\LandCover
