I tried playing the game, but i only have 10 fps, so the game is laggy to the point its unplayable.
I have a laptot with i5 9300h processor, 1650 gtx video card, and 8gb of ram. I tried changing the settings but it doesn't imrpove whatsoever.

Could you please provide a DxDiag file as the first step in helping us troubleshoot these issues?

Thanks, I see you have two video cards, one integrated which is below the minimum spec and another dedicated which is above it.

The drivers for the integrated card are also quite old.

We have one other report with a possible work-around:

"Regardless of what I was setting in the game settings, it was not respecting my choice and kept trying to run off software rendering. Windows 11 allows you to override this in settings, so I went to System>Display>Graphics, and manually added an entry for DW2, and set it to "High Performance", which forces it to use my dedicated GPU. Runs perfectly fine now."

Are you using both your integrated and dedicated graphics at the same time for some other reason? If not, please also try disabling your integrated graphics in your BIOS, if you are comfortable with that. You can also try disabling your integrated GPU in your Windows Device Manager.

Also, could you please try deleting the gamesettings and gamestartsettings files in the /data sub-folder of your installation, then re-launching the game to see if that makes any difference?

Hey,

I have the same problem. I'm also running this game on a laptop with a integrated card and a dedicated video card (rtx 2060). When playing the game I get low fps. There seem to be no difference whether I selected my integrated card or my dedicated card.

I tried this as well, since I indeed have a feeling this is the problem. But when starting the game after setting DW2 to high performance I just get a black screen and nothing happens. I can still alt-f4 out of it.

I added my dxdiag in the attachment :)

Hi Jeroen50,

Did you try the other steps in the pinned thread to see if you could disable your Integrated GPU to force DW2 to use the dedicated GPU?

Also, if it's coming up with a black screen, could you please try Alt+Enter to see if that switches it to WIndowed mode and lets you play?

Looking at your DxDiag, you may also benefit from the application scaling compatibilty fix in the other pinned thread.
