Please stop the hyper-agressive "you need to close this Popup" thing

If I have a Popup open that needs to be closed before I continue and I click anywhere outside it, the game makes a annoying noise and flashes the popups border agressively.
It also happens when I drag the scroll bar and get a pixel out of the screen (easy, given how thin they are).

This is annoying as heck. I am getting conscious about clicking anywhere while I have any popup open, including non-blocking ones. Please stop doing it.

According to the description "Supress Popup Messages" blocks the Message itself, making it kinda useless.

With most Windows and Popups you can easily asume that any click outside is a cancel. Popup question if I want to Start or Crash research? Lets asume any click outside is a cancel. And that I propably did not even want to get that popup question in the first place.

For the remaining windows without a clear cancel option, just doing nothing would be enough. Most people have enough intelligence to realize that if clicking anywhere does not work, they propably have to close a popup.

Yeah definitely found myself fighting with it from time to time. It would be nice if clicking on the game map would close or minimize popups.

Why the hell does this "feedback" exist at all. It servers no function except annoy the hell out of the user.

Feels like something you'd find in a in house system from 20 years ago

I second that. It would also be nice if we could close the windows with a simple right-click in the window.

Yep, it's terrible when scrolling through the settings menu with the scroll bar
