Flashing Red Ring Around Home World?

A flashing red ring started around my home world. Does this signify anything or is it a bug?

I don't recall seeing that before. Does it go away if you save and reload the game?

It did go away...TBH looks like some kind of graphical bug as it appeared like an orbital marker of some sort but was flashing.

Do you mean the red ring that pulse out from the planet? Like in the pic. I can only get it to show by hovering the mouse over the planet in the colonies menu. Might have got stuck or something if the mouse was not over the menu.
