121st Battalion Campaign recurring crash 2 desktop

I'm currently on part 3 "Checking the Advance" in the 121st Battalion Campaign.
When I select Scenario it tries to load the main game program for the next battle but after a brief moment it crashes to the desktop.
There doesn't appear a way around this blockage.
*The same thing also occurred on my first attempt at this same campaign.
In that instance, it failed between scenarios 1 and 2 in the same way.
I had to go back and restart the campaign and at the 2nd scenario it successfully moved me to the next part - Which is where I think I'm at now.
This is my third run on this campaign in total. Don't really wanna restart if it can be helped?
