Crash on Viewing Battles

I am experiencing crashes when viewing battles while zoomed in enough for the ships and weapon effects to render.
I've attempted running the game with only one monitor active, increasing the time before timeout on the display driver, a full display driver uninstall/reinstall, among other attempted fixes.
Attached are the event viewer logs as well as the crash dump generated by DW2 and a dxdiag output.
I am running a R9 270x 3GB GPU with no overclocking applied.

Thank you for the report, I'm sorry about the crashes.
Did 1.0.1.8 help with this at all?

Crash when enter Battle with all Versions so far.
I have made an inplace upgrade on my PC to check if my Windows installation is at fault or the net framework part in windows.
Same issue after that.

I'm afraid the 1.0.1.8 patch did not fix the issue. I've uploaded a report containing the new files and from the new version on the 1.0.1.8 troubleshooting thread to hopefully help consolidate all this.

Please try the new 1.0.6.2 beta update, especially this new game setting which we think may resolve the remaining crashes, especially battle crashes:
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you still experience crashes with 1.0.6.2 or later, especially crashes in battle, please try the new DXVK rendering option in the game settings. This can be found under "Rendering Mode", which can be switched from DirectX 11 to DXVK. This will likely resolve many issues caused by driver bugs or incompatibilities. If you try this setting and the game does not launch, please note the command line option in the changes below to switch back to DirectX 11.
