Right now the condensed view for a research tech only displays for about half a second before the 'long hover' version takes over. Because of how the long version is redrawn this often shifts the info on the short one around making it hard to read.

I have to just wait for the long one to appear before I can start to read it. Can this short version have a longer hover time of at least a couple of seconds? Otherwise there's no point to it and it's frustrating to have the information moving around each time.

Yes, there's a setting for this in the settings menu.
