I am fighting an empire with the same exact flag and color as me.. I cant be the only one incredibly irritated at this. Seems to me like a glaring issue that was overlooked. I hope they fix this in future updates...

Also what happened to vassalization? Diplomacy and state relations feels so.. bland. and dead endy? If that makes sense. It was better in DWU, because you could at least establish vassal states. Diplomacy in its current state just leaves so much more to be desired.

What does everyone else think? I'm enjoying the pretty graphics and all (seriously) but im close to just going back to DWU because of a few annoying things. I know it JUST released but are there any other glaring issues in your opinion?

if we ever get to chose empire colors, than it would be cool if the ships and stations also get some color change based on what you picked.
there could even already be ship colors based on the flag color you pick right now.

maybe even the flag logo on the ships and stations could look nice too.

I agree that the empire colors can be confusing. I also seem to have a same-color empire next to me.

Also, the colors seem washed out to me. I have trouble seeing my own borders, let alone someone else's. Could we get an option to make them more opaque, less transparent?

SImilarly, the nebula borders seem very pale. "Orange" looks like pale brown to me. The green sorta stands out, but even that could be more evident.

Yes, more distinction between empires would be nice. Either with colors, or with some sort of borders between the empires.

Here's a screenshot of the map in my current game. In the brown spot, there are 3 mortalen empires. And their borders are not what you probably think (1 of those empires have only 1 colony left). Also, it's not because all the Mortalen empires are brown. There's at least one other Mortalen empire that is of a different color. So I think this should receive more love...
