Question about Queue Attacks

A question about the attack buttons in the "Enemy Targets" list/tab in "Military" in the control center. If I click on one of those buttons to attack an enemy station, will it be attacked or captured? Or, in other words, is it possible to give an order to capture something - a ship, a station, a base - from that list?

I suspect you may have already figured this out by now; however just in case:
Once you have a fleet engaging the target the engagement will follow what ever Policy in the military policies that enable capturing; you will have to have assault pods in the fleet ships in order to have any chance of capturing.
But from the two military attack queues, there is no way of pre-planning sending fleets with capture capabilities.

Thanks, but yes, I've figured it out. But I DO wish that we would have more control from the queues, including being able to specify:
- capture or attack
- which fleet to assign to the task.

You can specify which fleet will be used for attack in a "half automatic" way. (3 steps)
First use the enemy target list to learn which target you wish to attack
Second, then manually send a fleet to target you choose,
And finally click the "target" button in the enemy targets list.
What will happen is that enemy target list will update "attack" button by displaying a fleet you sent.
Primary benefit is that you can use the list to learn targets, ie. you don't need to search targets on galaxy map,
secondary benefit is that you keep a track of your attacks by using the list, ie. to quickly switch between multiple assault actions.
If that's too much manual for you, another option is to spread your fleets so that their engagement range does not overlap across your empire, this way you know which fleet will be selected but the selection is only one possible ofc.
