I was wondering if someone found the locations of all artifacts, i found some on the storyline homeworlds, but a few are still missing. Also any ideas if you can get the artifacts if you play without any storyline active? And what are your thought on the super tech? is it really good? and can the AI get it too?

Super tech is really good in my experience! The engines are very powerful, the wormhole drive is insane, and the planet killer ship hull is powerful enough to replace entire fleets and multiple ship roles. And I haven't even had a chance to test the superweapons!

Other advantage is once you discover them, there aren't research prerequisites for them, so you can skip straight to them and ignore the rest of the tech tree. And they actually don't even have particularly long research times. Which honestly i wonder if that's a bit overpowered and should maybe be rebalanced.
