Hi guys!

Still playing my first campaign and it's very fun.

Just found an abandoned Ikkuro colony ship, and now the question is, what planet type is best for them?
Got no information ingame.

Left click the ship. On it's pop-up in the bottom left corner you should see an icon for the pops. Mouse over the icon and you get a pop-up that displays their percentages for different world types. That or go to the top right and click on the ? button. Then find the listing for the different pops (not sure what its called, might be listed as races, perhaps something else), and scroll down for that race, stats are near the bottom of the listing.

F1 -> Alien Speices gives you the ingame informations.

But if you hover over a planets quality, you should also be told the suitability of every race in your empire - including those "only" in a colonyship.

Yes. That's something I requested during the beta, too. It's probably low priority though.
